Software Developer · Computer Scientist
I'm a software developer and computer scientist based in northern Denmark. I hold an MSc in Computer Science from Aalborg University, where my work centred on formal methods for distributed and embedded systems — reasoning rigorously about how software behaves.
Today I build software professionally and enjoy turning hard problems into reliable, well-tested systems. If you're a potential employer or collaborator, the highlights are below; the code is on GitHub and the full history on LinkedIn.
What I'm doing now
Software Developer at Saphe A/S (Aalborg, hybrid) since September 2024. Saphe runs a subscription-based traffic-alarm service: small in-car devices that warn drivers in real time about what's on the road ahead — speed traps, queues, and slow-moving traffic — helping them stay aware and drive more safely — today with 500,000+ paying subscribers and over 1M users. I'm on the backend / cloud team, where I maintain and build new features across a C#/.NET microservice architecture. The services are containerized with Docker and run on a Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cluster, communicating over gRPC. My work also involves DevOps tasks such as deployments, monitoring, CI/CD pipeline configuration in Azure DevOps, and cluster configuration.
Background
Before Saphe I spent roughly four years at Netcompany (2020–2024), progressing from IT consultant to Senior Architect and Senior Specialist. There I built and maintained software largely for the Danish healthcare sector — including the Danish Medicines Agency's Dynamics CRM platform and an integration to the European Medicines Agency's EU medicines database, and earlier the national pandemic-response apps — Coronapas (3M+ downloads) and Smittestop / Smittestopp (2.5M+ users, 500,000+ infection registrations). Before industry I spent five years researching formal verification at Aalborg University (2015–2020), with several peer-reviewed publications.
This site
This site is one of my side projects, and doubles as a small live demo. It's an ASP.NET Core app with Google OpenID Connect sign-in, role-aware navigation, and a full automated test suite — self-hosted on a k3s cluster (a Raspberry Pi) behind automatic TLS, with a CI/CD pipeline. The source (minus the private infrastructure) is on GitHub.
